FAMILY MEDICINE DOCTOR TO JOIN MERITCARE NEW YORK MILLS AND MERITCARE PERHAM

Perham, Minn. – Sonja Uselman, M.D., family medicine, will be joining MeritCare New York Mills and MeritCare Perham in July 2007.

Trained in family medicine, Dr. Uselman is educated in all major areas of medicine. She is qualified to care for most of the health care needs of the entire family, from infants to the elderly. For those times when more specialized care is necessary, she will coordinate your care and advise you on the most appropriate treatment.

A graduate of Wadena-Deer Creek High School, Dr. Uselman received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, and her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Concordia College, Moorhead. Currently, she is completing a residency in family medicine at the Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha.

In her free time, Dr. Uselman enjoys quilting, rollerblading, gardening, cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors.
