NEW PHYSICAL THERAPIST AT PERHAM HOSPITAL

Matt Johnson, RPT, CDT-LANA, AS of Perham Memorial Hospital and HomePerham native, Matt Johnson, RPT, CDT-LANA, AS, has joined the physical therapy department at Perham Memorial Hospital and Home as a registered physical therapist. Matt grew up and attended school in Perham. Following high school, he attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks where he received a masters degree in physical therapy in May 1998. Prior to joining PMHH, Matt worked at Rice Hospital in Willmar, Minn.

“I have always been impressed at the quality of care Perham has provided,” said Matt. “The proactive approach to health care the hospital takes with bringing in specialists, investing in technology and people, and always putting the need’s of the patient first, were all very important in my decision to come here. Everyone is committed to providing the best care.”

In addition to seeing patients through the outpatient services department at PMHH, Matt will work with hospital patients, home care clients, and nursing home residents.

Matt and his wife, Trica, have a 16-month old daughter, Madilyn. Outside of work, Matt enjoys the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and working outside.
