            The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations may conduct an unannounced accreditation survey of this organization, Perham Memorial Hospital, Home Care and/or Lab at any time.  The purpose of the survey will be to evaluate our continuous compliance with nationally established Joint Commission standards.  The survey results will be used to determine whether, and the conditions under which, accreditation should be awarded to PMHH and its organizational entities.

            Joint Commission standards deal with organizational quality of care issues and the safety of the environment in which care is provided. If an individual has any concerns about patient care and safety at PMHH, that have not been addressed, he or she is encouraged to contact the Director of Quality Management at 346-1149.  If concerns cannot be resolved through the patient representative, the individual is encouraged to contact the Joint Commission.
