Andrew Johnson D.P.M.

Dr. Johnson specializes in the diagnosis and treatment, both surgical and medical for all foot and ankle disorders. These conditions include: foot and ankle fractures and deformaties, tendon and ligament disorders, flat foot reconstructions, athletic injuries, arthritic conditions, toe deformaties and injuries, tarsal tunnel syndrome, neuromas, heel pain, abnormal skin lesions and masses, as well as ingrown toenails. Some of the procedures Dr. Johnson utilizes to treat these conditions are: surgical and non-surgical correction of foot and ankle fractures, ankle arthroscopy (utilizing a small camera and instruments), tendon transfers and lengthening procedures, bunion and hammertoe corrective surgery, nerve decompression procedures, joint procedures for arthritic conditions and permanent removal of toenails.

Medical education and training:
 
Dr. Johnson earned his medical degree from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center, Iowa. He completed his foot and ankle surgical residency at Multicare Health System, Tacoma, Wash. Prior to joining Sanford Health, Dr. Johnson practiced at St. Clare Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Washington.

Dr. Johnson is married and has three children. He enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and boating.
