Randel Stolee M.D.
As a general surgeon, Dr. Stolee specializes in the surgical treatment of a wide range of diseases and conditions involving the breast, stomach, esophagus, thyroid, pancreas, gallbladder, and intestinal tract. He treats skin cancers including those requiring plastic surgery. He provides a comfortable experience with colonoscopy and gastroscopy for screening or therapeutic purposes. His pediatric surgeries include tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, ear tubes, hernia repair, appendectomy and other emergencies. His passion is to provide his rural setting the highest quality surgical care with compassion and consideration in a timely fashion.

Medical education and training:
Dr. Stolee received his medical degree from the University of Southern California Medical School, Los Angeles. He completed his general surgery residency through Gundersen Clinic, LaCrosse, Wis. He joined MeritCare in 1992. He is board certified in surgery. This means that he has fulfilled the necessary criteria established by the regulating board and has passed the examinations that accredit him in this field.
Off duty interests and activities:
Dr. Stolee and his wife have three sons. In his free time, Dr. Stolee enjoys community activities, vocal music, church activities, carpentry and watersports.
