Andrea Westby, M.D.
Trained in family medicine, Dr. Westby is educated in all major areas of medicine. She is qualified to care for most of the health care needs of the entire family, from infants to the elderly. For those times when more specialized care is necessary, she will coordinate your care and advise you on the most appropriate treatment.

Medical education and training:
Dr. Westby earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. She completed her residency in family medicine at the United Family Medicine Residency Program in St. Paul, Minnesota. Dr. Westby is board certified in family medicine. This means that she has fulfilled the necessary criteria established by the accrediting boards and has passed the examinations that accredit her in this field.

Dr. Westby believes that true health and wellness occurs when all aspects of a patient's health are addressed, including physical, emotional, familial, cultural, and spiritual needs. She loves caring for patients of all ages, cultures, and walks of life, and enjoys partnering with patients in medical decision making, empowering them to take control of their health, and tailoring their care to meet their individual needs and wants.
Dr Westby and her husband Joe have been married for three years, and have two bulldogs, Vinny and Maeby.
Outside of medicine and spending time with family and friends, Dr. Westby enjoys being physically active, including running, cycling, swimming, and occasionally golfing. She also loves watching sports at all levels, especially the Minnesota Golden Gophers. She likes to cook, bake, and eat, and loves to read books of all kinds.
