As a physician assistant, David, in collaboration with a physician, specializes in the care of patients of all ages. This includes all aspects of family medicine. He is trained to work with all members of the family ranging from infants to the elderly.

Philosophy of Care:
To help encourage personal responsibility in the decision making process as it relates to the issue of health and wellness for my patients. I try to help my patients, through education, to make good choices with regard to health issues.
Medical education and training:
David received his physician assistant education as a Corpsman in the Air Force during the Vietnam period. His nursing training was from Abbott-Northwestern Hospital School of Nursing in Minneapolis, Minn. Prior to working for MeritCare, he worked for St. James Health Services in St. James, Minn.
Off duty interests and activities:
David enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys. They love to hunt and fish.
