Gail Pickett Ph.D.

Dr. Pickett is doctorate-level trained, and specializes in the diagnosis and non-medical treatment of mental health concerns. Through a variety of techniques including psychological testing, counseling, (individual, couple, family or group), and behavioral modification programs, she helps persons who are mentally or emotionally disturbed adjust to life. Conditions often treated include depression, anxiety and adjustment disorders.

Medical education and training:

 

Dr. Pickett received her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, and her bachelor’s degree in education science from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She completed post-doctoral training in psychology at the University of Missouri Center for Trauma Recovery, St. Louis, and at SouthCentralHumanServiceCenter, Jamestown, N.D. Prior to joining MeritCare, Dr. Pickett worked as clinical director at SouthCentralHumanServiceCenter. Dr. Pickett joined MeritCare in 2006.
