Perham Living Home Care offers assisted living services
Perham Living Home Care is pleased to announce the availability of assisted living services in St. James Manor and Briarwood on the Perham Living Campus.
The program, which began in October, provides a continuum of care for the residents of the apartments, allowing seniors to age in place, without an additional move to a setting that provides the higher level of care required to maintain independence. The service is available to residents of the apartments who need assistance with some activities of daily living, but do not require the intensive medical care and supervision provided in a nursing home.
“We are pleased to provide residents of Briarwood and St. James Manor services, 24-hours a day, in their own apartments,” says Katie Lundmark, Vice President of Long Term Care with Perham Living. “We know aging in place is important; people want to remain in their homes and independent as long as possible. Our assisted living services are designed to keep folks where they want to be.”
A multitude of services are available for tenants to choose from with additional services easily added as needs change. Services included a 24-hour on-site caregiver, a registered nurse available 24 hours a day, full housekeeping, three daily meals, personal cares such as bathing, dressing, and foot care, medication management, laundry, personal response line, transportation arrangement, and pet services.
The new assisted living program provides another facet to the wide-range of progressive services offered by Perham Living Home Care, taking another step to ensure seniors are able to find the quality care they need, close to home.
